HardyBuilt was approached by the Hoopa tribe to build a spiritual healing center at Tish Tang Campground. The sauna we constructed is an ode to traditional ceremonial sweat lodges with several modern upgrades. We incorporated rocks from the nearby river, plants from the campground’s perimeter, and local cedar. Honoring the sacred environment, the outdoor showers feature harvested ferns and moss, which give it the feeling of an inviting, living grotto.
